This Escalated Quickly
Several deaths, a handful of others’ cancer diagnoses, and one case of shingles. Or at least one case of shingles that I have; several other people I know have had them (it?) in the last several months. That’s the last 18 months in a nutshell. 0/10, do not recommend.
Slowed but not Stopped
What’s next over here at The Catholic Jedi? A few things.
- Finishing Emotion, Yet Peace. This is my Star Wars fanfiction taking place around the Ahsoka series.
- Revising Our Sister’s Mage. I’ve shared the first chapter here before, but I think I’m going to make a go for the whole thing.
- Outlining and starting the next novel, which is unrelated to that one. This one will have blood magic.
- 3d printing! I’m heading to a fall bazaar with some products and will see if I like it enough to continue doing it.
- Book reviews. I’ve been reading, but I haven’t been posting about it.
Unsolicited PSA
If you end up with a tiny rash that looks like cold sores but it isn’t on your mouth, go to Urgent Care and get the antivirals. I had a mild case, which I didn’t even know existed, but I attribute that entirely to starting medication within 18 hours of noticing the rash. If you’re over 50, get the vaccine.
